We've got some big, exciting workshops coming up this spring! You won't want to miss these niche photography opportunities. 

Flash Fest: Off-Camera Flash Weekend Workshop

Saturday & Sunday, March 12 + 13 at various locations | $399

This two-day off camera flash workshop includes sessions at the Precision Camera classroom and various locations in and around town. Some sessions will be lecture-based, while others will provide students with the opportunity to photograph professional models using professional flash equipment. This workshop is lead by Lumix Ambassador, Todd White who specializes in fashion, commercial and portrait photography and videography and by full-time photographer and long-time Precision Camera instructor, Tim Babiak.

Lecture: Friday, March 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hotel Havana | $49

Shooting Experience: Saturday, March 19 from 7 to 10 a.m. at the San Marcos Commemorative Air Force Central Texas Wing | $179

On March 18, you'll join Moose for a Friday evening lecture at the Hotel Havana in San Antonio (PS: you can clean out your camera bag and get cash for your gear from 10am-5pm at our Cash for Cameras event at the very same location!).

Then, the following Saturday morning, you'll head to the Commemorative Air Force Central Texas Wing’s hangar in San Marcos for a unique shooting experience. (Hotel stay + transportation to Moose's workshop not included.)⁠

Then join us for this photography workshop at a location where more bird species have been recorded than at any other national park! Your guide and instructor, Lee Hoy, has been exploring the Big Bend region for over 30 years and was a key scout, assistant and animal scout for the PBS Nature special, “Big Bend: The Wild Frontier of Texas.” He offers birding and photography tours in the Big Bend region year round and knows where to find the birds.
